Doncaster West Development Trust’s team of Financial Inclusion Advisors has been supporting individuals in Doncaster to manage their debts, it is with regret that we are no longer in a position to offer this in depth free money management advice and guidance service to all Doncaster residents.

Money Matters
We are however, delighted to announce that DWDT has been awarded a grant for a 3 year project from the Big Lottery to organise, facilitate and support 41 self help Money groups within the communities of Doncaster.
The primary focus of the groups is around money; however we are aware that money worries and difficult times can have a knock on affect on health and well-being, so we have taken this into account.
The project will see two Money Guides supporting the groups. The Money Guidance Group meetings will be held once a month at a local venue.
On joining the groups which is free, group members can then also access one to one money/debt advice which is also free.
We are also looking to recruit Volunteer Money Champions throughout the time of the project, the Money Champions will assist the Money Guides to build on the groups already in place, and whilst they are champions DWDT will offer training to support their own personal development
